Mindful Life

Unconditional freedom is freedom in ALL conditions.
— Tempel Smith

I have always believed that practice should be practical for our lives - that it must meet us where we are and help us access the qualities already present within us for both personal growth and positive transformation in the world. We don’t always have control over the outer circumstances in our lives, but we CAN practice to shift our own ways of being in relationship with ourselves, which in turn, also begins to shift the way we are in relationship with others. And perhaps the best (and juiciest, most “real”) place to start is close to home -- or even AT home. Or at work. Or school. As a friend who works for a pharmaceutical company once aptly noted, “Chances are if you can be awake at work, you can wake up pretty much anywhere.”

For this reason, developing programs that bring the principles of mindfulness, respect and potentiality into our communities (work, school, family) is an important, ever-evolving part of my offerings.
